Mental Health Roundtable

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and an appropriate time to address a very serious subject that affects all of our communities of faith every day. Working with the local chapter of NAMI, Saint John’s- Newberry UMC will host a gathering to come to the table to talk about how Mental Health Issues affect us directly and our wider community as a whole.

When: Monday, May 20th, 1 p.m.
Why: To discuss how we might more effectively engage with persons who have mental illnesses in our faith communities, our families and the community at large.
